I love Canada

Made here, played here.

This page keeps two things: the games on the channel that were made in Canada, with the studios that made them, and Canada Week, a yearly run of Canadian-made streams around the first of July.

A letter

Why this page exists.

I love Canada. Not the way a flag on a wall loves a country, but the way you love a place you get to live in every day. It is the kindness of the people, which is the first thing anyone notices and the thing that stays. It is the size of it, where you can drive for a day and still be home, and the seasons, which give a year a shape: the long light of summer evenings, the first cold morning, the winters that turn a room with a game in it into the best room in the world. It is the feeling that you can build something of your own here and the people around you will wish you well while you do it. And it is the games: this country has made more of the ones we love than most people realise, which is why there is a shelf of them below.

This page exists for a simple reason. I wanted to say thank you, out loud, to the place that makes the rest of this site possible.
